A-Klotho (10mcg): Product Description
Alpha-Klotho is a recombinant form of the Klotho protein supplied for controlled in-vitro investigation of Klotho-associated cellular signaling. Unlike short synthetic peptides, Alpha-Klotho is a large recombinant protein whose molecular characteristics depend on the expressed construct, amino-acid sequence, processing method, glycosylation and other post-translational modifications.
Klotho-related research includes experimental work involving FGF23 signaling, phosphate-regulation pathways, Wnt-associated mechanisms, oxidative-response signaling and cellular processes associated with biological aging. Alpha-Klotho may also be studied in receptor-interaction, protein-expression and cellular-communication assays. These research areas should not be presented as demonstrated clinical benefits.
Because Alpha-Klotho is a recombinant protein, assigning a single small-molecule formula would be misleading. Its appropriate identifiers are the expressed sequence, construct information, expected molecular mass and batch-specific analytical data provided by the manufacturer. Molecular Edge currently lists its Alpha-Klotho product in a 10 mcg presentation, not 10 mg, so the Molecular Edge concentration should be confirmed before publication.
