FOXO4-DRI (15mg): Product Description
FOXO4-DRI is an experimental D-retro-inverso peptide inspired by a protein-interaction region of the FOXO4 transcription factor. In a D-retro-inverso construct, D-amino acids are arranged in reverse sequence to reproduce selected spatial characteristics of the corresponding natural peptide while modifying its susceptibility to enzymatic degradation.
FOXO4-DRI is primarily studied in laboratory models involving the interaction between FOXO4 and the p53 protein. This interaction has been investigated in relation to cellular senescence, cell-cycle regulation, apoptosis-associated signaling and the localization of p53 within experimental cellular systems. Research involving this compound may examine whether disrupting selected protein–protein interactions changes signaling behavior in senescent and non-senescent cell populations.
Because FOXO4-DRI may be produced using different sequences or proprietary constructs, a universal molecular formula and molecular weight should not be assigned without reviewing the exact amino-acid sequence. The batch-specific Certificate of Analysis must be treated as the definitive technical source for identity, purity, sequence and measured molecular mass.
